Due to an ongoing collaboration with the European Space Agency and Polar View, the International Polar Foundation and the Arctic Arc Expedition have regularly been receiving satellite images of the route taken by the Expedition from Leif Toudal Pedersen of the Danish National Space Center, also a member of Polar View. As an earth observation (EO) or satellite remote-sensing program supported by ESA, Polar View offers integrated monitoring and forecasting services in the Polar Regions using satellite earth observation data.
