Beth Cheesebourgh was a part of the all female expedition led by Correnè Erasmus Coetzer which went from Hercules Hercules Inlet to South Pole, back in 2006-07 austral summer season.

Beth Cheesebourgh (32) is a doctor who lives in London. She has a great interest in mountaineering, travel and adventure.

In 2003-2004, she traveled from Alaska to Argentina by bicycle. She has never been to the polar regions but have a longstanding desire to travel to Antarctica, so the expedition of the austral summer season 2006-07 seems to be a good way of combining this with another challenge.

Together with guide Denise Martin and Correnè Erasmus Coetzer, she left Patriot Hills on December 1st and reached South Pole on January 24th after ha.
