Laurence of Ferrière was born in Casablanca in 1957.She has about twenty years when she discovers the high mountain. She gives up then the flute traversière and the medicine to set out to conquer the highest summits of the world.

Having completed numerous extreme events most notably winning hisage group in the gruelling 'Escape from Alcatraz' triathlon,his experiences vary from being the first Brit to Bull ride in theNew Zealand National Rodeo to attempting to break the world landspeed record for towing a caravan.

Dickinson Conrad and Hilary (United Kingdom)
Conrad's love of cross-country spans over 30 years. He learnt to ski whilstserving as an Officer in the British Army, specialising in winterwarfare and Arctic survival. Upon leaving the Army, Conrad continuedhis skiing and joined numerous expeditions to Greenland (4 times),Iceland, Spitzbergan, Yukon (Mount Logan), Sierra Nevada (California),Siberia and Sweden. In addition, for the last 20 years, Conrad andHilary, (his wife) have made an annual pilgrimage to Norway duringwinter to enjoy their sport. Conrad leads an expedition to Norway mostyears.

Dupre Lonnie (USA)
Artic Explorer, Writer, Photograher and Educator. During an Arctic career spanning 17 years, Lonnie Dupre (44) has traveled over 13,500 miles throughout the high Arctic regions of northeastern Russia, Lapland, Alaska, Canada and Greenland. He has led five major Arctic expeditions and participated in six.

Eaton Kevin (Great Britain)
Kevin Eaton was a member of the 'Southern Reach Expedition' (Royal Air Forces). They have attempted in 2006-07 the trek Hercules Inlet - South Pole and had to give up, being at only 101 nautical miles from the Pole.

Elkaim Gilles (France)
French explorer Gilles Elkaim is a physicist by training. In 1984, he leaves the confort of civilization for a year's stay in Greenland, integrating himself into the Inuit community, hunting and fishing to feed his 8 sled dogs. His most famous feat : crossing with kayak and sledge, the Eurasian Continent, from Cape North in Norway to Bering Strait. His ambition was to relivethe great migrations of the peoples of the Siberian Arctic. He spent three years on this field.

Erasmus Coetzer Correnè (South Africa)
Correnè Erasmus-Coetzer (born in 1959) lives in Stellenbosch, South Africa. She is an ex-teacher who likes to be outdoors and love to travel to remote places. She has been three times to Antarctica allready.

Etienne Jean-Louis (France)
French doctor and explorer Jean-Louis Etienne has dedicated his all life to exploration. In 1986, he became the first person to reach the North Pole solo, hauling his own sledge for 63 days. Since then he has led numerous expeditions to polar regions as well as to remote places like the french atoll of Clipperton in the Pacific, where he led a team of researchers to draw up an inventory of biodiversity and produce a report on the state of the marine environment. In 2010, he fulfilled a long-standing dream: to cross the Arctic Ocean in a hot-air balloon.
