But this year, in July and August, Explorapoles will be tracking the exploits of Borge Ousland as he circumnavigates the pole. It was with no particular hitches and a great deal of nostalgia that the 8 participants of Deep Sea Under The Pole.com finally took their leave of the environment and surroundings that have held them in thrall for so long.

  Ann Daniels, Martin Hartley and Charlie Paton, the explorer team of the Catlin Arctic Survey, have reached North Pole yesterday at 21pm BST. The were on the ice since 60 days.
