    The two Norwegians were dropped on the icecap by helicopter, unlike Adrian Hayes's expedition, which, for its part, had to devote three days to climbing along a glacier.

    Their 80-day adventure out on the ice of Baffin Island – as well as enjoying the grandiose spectacle of remote fjords – is now at an end. And the girls can look back on their expedition with great affection and a touch of nostalgia.

    The four teachers from the Fuchs Foundation have reached the final point of their adventure without any major problems. Called Dog Camp, it's a tiny dot on Greenland's polar icecap, and it is probably from here that a helicopter will fly in to take them out.
