Since their arrival at SP (on 1 January), Larramendi and team had time to rest thouroughly ; because what they really missed most during the first leg was being able to sleep without being shoved all over by the sled in motion.

The Basque Team : almost flying home

Adventure has begun for BSAE officers

All the 24 people of the BSAE expedition have arrived now in the Antarctic. Some have flown from Punta Arenas to Rothera on Adelaide Island. The remainder sailed on board of sloop Australis through the infamous Drake Passage.
