Australian Justin Jones and James Castrission are fully exhausted and very very hungry. In order to get to HI on time (26 January), Aussies are obliged to cover more than a marathon each day...

On his last audio dispatche, Jonesy seems quite exhausted. He does not even have the strenght to speak more than 50 seconds. But at the same time we do not feel that he is desesperate to reach their goal.

But a certainty is that these both young men are strung out. Not only because of the extreme fatigue that strains them more and more as the days pass. But probably mainly because they had to ration their food well before they've reached the South Pole. Also, they have lost their painkillers somewhere and their body hurt evrywhere.

Nevertheless, here are the figures on 15 January (with less than 11 days to go) : 84°28'37" S / 80°24'23" W. Distance covered since the start : 1.760 kil. Distance still to cover : 511 kilometers. Obviously, not an easy task.
