EWR : Tony Martin's team together with guest from Think Global School have reached South Pole on 6 December fifteen days after having left Novolazarevskaya.
In the group of Think Global School, there was the youngest person to ever ski to the Pole, Alex fifteen years of age. All these persons have been welcomed by a solid white out, so that they could not even see the buildings of the Amundsen-Scott american research station.
One day after arrival, the Think Global School (not a word of this voyage to South Pole in the TGS website!) took a plane to fly back to Novolazarevskaya and from there, the flew back to Cape Town on 8 December.Leaving the EWR people to their task of preparing the race. Besides building a camp, they highlighted the fact that Martin and his men had finished to build an outside ice bar (the Bar 100).
In a few days, Martin and teammates should proceed with their traverse, leave South Pole and drive towards McMurdo americain reserach station located on the other side of the 6th Continent.
