Gamme sees penguins everywhere

The other day, on 4 December, Norwegian solo Aleksander Gamme told the ALE logsitic people that he just has seen six penguins on the ice...
Every day, each expeditionner travelling in what ever part of Antarctica has to call the security people (in this case it's ALE logistic) to tell them their position of the day and briefly what has happenned the last 24 hours.
Following the example of the world of seamen, the Antarctic has its own non written laws and eventhough this part of the world becomes more and more popular and attended by tourists, the 6th Continent remains a very dangerous place.
So, on this date of 4 December, Gamme had chosen to tell the ALE logistic people that he just had seen six penguins. These so called officials are not only concerned with the physical health of their customers, but also with the mental stress they could feel. And of course when they heard on the phone that Gamme had just seen penguins, they suddenly wondered if the Norwegian was still in good mental conditions.
Q : Are you OK, Aleksander ?
A : Quite OK guys, I have seen penguins and I feel particularly happy...
Before they called the doctor, they asked the same question over and over. Finally, Gamme had to admit that having being forced to stay weatherbounded in the tent all day, he had chosen to watch some movies amongst which 'Mr Popper's Penguins', a brillant comedy directed by Mark Waters !
Yesterday, 3 December, Gamme has marched 10 hours and done 28 km -that was the day 35 of his trek.
