Very few information coming from the descent of ultramarathon runner Pat Farmer on his way to Punta Arenas.

Obviously Aussie ultramarathon runner Pat Farmer -who comes from North Pole runing on the bitumen- is concentrating himself on the rest of the job to do to achieve the stage 4 of his voyage to South Pole, the descent of South America along its west coast, Columbia, Perou and Chile.

He found the time though to make some more video reportage : in one of them, he tells us that the south part of Perou was quite difficult to manage because he had to run on sand dunes, one sand dune after another. It strained the feet as well as the muscles of the legs.

He also had the time to give some of his latest positions : on 7 December he was at S 29.70514° / W 71.30748° and four days before (on 3 December) he nhad reached this latitude :  S 27.33868° / W 70.59995°. He had made almost 260 km in four days.

No doubt that, with such a moto, Pat Farmer will reach Punta Arenas in time.
