Javier Selva's (48) note, he is audiovisual producer and photographer of the expedition (see here his CV): "... A lot of people have asked me for a list of the audiovisual equipment I’ll be taking along. I think you’ll find it useful, so I’m going to give you all the details. Bear in mind that we’re talking about professional-standard gear for TV broadcasting and a variety of other uses. Audio is particularly important: the interviews with the expedition members and their opinions are key to understanding the crossing in its full dimension. And there’s another important reason why I’ve chosen this particular equipment: the responsibility for the video and photography falls on the same person, namely me. This is becoming more and more common, but it’s no easy task. As well as having to adapt your eyes to both formats, it makes handling the equipment messy. You end up becoming a bit of a one-man-band (that’s something I’ve always wanted to be; after all, Da Vinci was one). ..."
